HOW TO MAKE
ACID WASHED JEANS WITH BLEACH
- Household Bleach
- Water
- Dark Jeans (*I recommend these because the effects are seen much clearer and is interesting to do.*)
- Rubber bands (*not required if you want complete washed out plain jeans without any patterns*)
- A Bucket
- Rubber gloves (optional.. need not use, but it's probably safer.)
MATERIALS
NEEDED:
Step 1: Begin
by tying small knots in your jeans with the rubber bands. Try to wad them up
and fold them as you add the rubber bands. About like, 20-50 rubber bands
(depending on how you want the look to be). And if you want a plain washed out
denim, then you need not knot your jeans.
STEP 2: Add
about 80 ounces of water to the bucket and an entire container of household
bleach (about 120 ounces). Then put your wadded & banded jeans in the
bucket.
STEP 3: Let your jeans sit for about an hour. Then check to see if you are getting the desired look. You may need to flip your jeans and let them sit another hour if they aren't fully submerged in the water/bleach mixture.
Continue
checking your jeans until you get the look you are going for. (The longer you
leave it submerged, the lighter the jeans turn out to be.)
STEP 4: Once the jeans are finished soaking in the bleach bucket, take them out of the bucket with gloved hands. Rinse the bleach out of the jeans on a sidewalk (so you don't ruin your grass) with water from a hose.
STEP 5: Wash them in the washer ALONE (with no other clothing) in cold water. Then dry them in the dryer.
VOILA!

You can patch up the area that is messed up with choice of fabrics or you can also cover it up with embellishments like machine embroidery or heat set logos and designs ( machine embroidered designs that get sticked to the garment by ironing it on the fabric) or even with metal studs or you can JUST simply rip it MORE!! ;)
Yes! After all, you all know ripped jeans is a long loved trend from years! ;)
So hope you loved and found the post to be interesting.
Stay tuned for more.
Hope you all have a Super Saturday and Happy Valentines Day.
